What a joke!!! Looks like " two guys " should quit stroking there garage and work on there cars!!! Or at least find some cars that run-- Lookers aren't everything. My car may not have the show car glass finish - Butt :moonu: I know mine and a whole lotta other pure stockers that would nock'em in the dirt!!! :beer :3gears: :moonu: That's almost as bad as that supercar shootout in some magazine lately with a yenko running 15- and 14's popping and snapping all the way down the track. Good thing they let them run slicks.... ou: If you can't work on them don't run them !!!!!
[spell check]Amateur[/spell check] Peter Klutt is the reason why I don't watch that program at all. I have a good buddy who vintage road races in events alongside Klutt. Quite a few stories of Mr. Prima Donna Klutt and his behavior at those events. Not to mention his inablility to drive a car quickly in a straight line. Maybe he should take some hot-shoe lessons from Bruno. A 1/2 second slower in the same car with Klutt behind the wheel?? :error: Have a HAPPY NEW YEAR !!!!
I really enjoyed the show, and thought that Klute did a pretty good job of shoeing them. Its funny on some of the other websites, they were criticizing the soft launch, they were thinking he should dump the clutch at 4000 ou: I would be surprized if Brunos car did not run a better et,and mph,but they just did not say it to keep it semi close.I dont think they showed the et,s on the tower.Mean head wind also, good tv :TU:
they didn't use the staging lights and tower scoring, they used telemetry from a sponsor company.......
Hey Tim I picked up the bi Monthly issue of Muscle Car Review and there was a picture of you in your Chevelle and Brian in the 58 at the line. At least I think it was yours it is on the 2nd or 3rd page near the index not sure if you have gotten that mag yet.. It has a yellow 69 road runner on the cover. Update oops was Mark Barkers Chevelle sorry Paul
I don't wanna make excuses for any of the cars, but...the lead-in about tuning all the cars and mounting new tires isn't exactly correct...I know a couple cars never had a wrench turned on them and were ran on their NOS [read: "30+ years old"] tires, and the promised set of tires arrived back at home with the cars still wrapped in their plastic... ou: And I still don't know what a burnout contest proves, especially with someone else's car(s)... o No:
