  1. Driving through a neighborhood last week and saw a open garage door with what looked like a buick covered in garage stuff. stopped and sure enough it was a 67 special. rang the doorbell and a lady who must have been 150 years old answered. I asked about the car obviously i was able to buy it. The 150 year old lady bought it new in 68 when she was 110 and stopped driving it about 15 years ago. it has sat in her garage since then and has been started every once in a while by her son. still has bias ply tires and is in pretty darn solid shape. interior is excellent except for split seams on the front seat. rubber floor matt instead of carpet, 300 3 barrel engine with st300 trans. not a single pit in the pot metal and bumpers are excellent. somehow i always end up with these post cars:Dou: did i mention it only has 79000 miles

pics are after i got it pushed out of her garage and was waiting for the towing company that forgot about me. :af:

    BUICKRAT Got any treats?

Nice score! Somehow, the 67's look ok as a post coupe, unlike the 68-72 cars. Was it cheap?

  7. I probably paid more than jason would have, but i need to be able to sleep at night..:TU:

That is a neat looking car Bob. Something about the way that car looks really appeals to me.

  14. perhaps it's the unmolestedness of it...

    chryco63 14's or bust!

Do you mean 2bbl, or is this some phenomenon I'm simply not aware of yet?

I know Holley made a 3bbl back in the day. :)

That is a pretty sweet car there. The unmolestedness definitely has an appeal to it. Nice find :TU:

    SS-TRUCK Stage 1 X

Post car with little hub caps , huh , do I hear sleeper ??

  20. it's a 2 barrel. I fat fingered the keyboard. I like the poverty caps enough that i'm having a hard time convincing myself to install the new 15 inch rallies.
