11k miles,..No18 Nickey Performance Stage 2,.it should move out pretty good,..715rwhp and 656tq going to pick it up this coming week. Looks like I'll finally get to use my new Race quip Helmet I've had for 3yrs now ha Billet specialties WinLite Drag pak and a Hard line muti jet Pro-Meth kit will be my only mods,..for now. Forged 4xx shortblock and a F1x blower or a Kong 2650 in a few yrs maybe,..this one is gonna be a "keeper"
These Nickey stage 2 cars trap around 130~135mph and gmcan dip into the high 9s on a good track in cool air. They are the biggest bang for the buck next to the 03/04 Zo6 on 05-13 vetted especially the LS3 vetted those cars trap 115~120 out of the box. There are several first gen Zl1s out there for mid 20s with decent miles I appreciate the reputation and nostalgia attached to it being a Nickey car it's like owning what I would have wanted to buy new back in the glory days
Oh yea car like this demands your respect especially on 20 wheels,. The tune up is actually conservative,..you can spin the blower a few more lbs and put it on corn and make 800
These cars have a very robust drivetrain also,..they were tested to 1k clutch drops when in development b4 being ok'd. Stock drivetrain is good to high 8s in lightened cars and low 9s in stock weight,..and brakes that will put you through the windshield I've lusted for one since they were announced
It lives off a steady supply of anything ma mopar has to offer Recently divorced,.sold the house,.paying off all prior debt here soon,..its playtime boys! Picked up a stupid clean 85 Silverado shortbed in the house deal,.its getting a cammed 6.0 swap an full suspension and brake package with some 20in Tq thrust and a 5/7 drop,..
You should just buy a big property and build a huge 4 bay garage with a bachelor appartment above and call it "Ethans Toy Box" and stuff it full of quads, bikes, cars, trucks and whatever else tickles your fancy. Well that's my plan if the wife ever agrees to let me be single again
