A friend of a friend asked me for help with coming up with a fair price / buyer for her mom's car. Mom (89) doesn't drive it anymore, they bought it new. They live in CO. I usually deal with 2 door Buicks, not as well versed on 4 door values. This one sure looks nice though. I am asking for pics from front and rear, and inside of trunk. LMK what you think please.

That's a very clean car. I am not sure of market value for a 4 door, but I do think 6-7.5k would be an absolute steal. Gotta be worth more than that...?

$6k-7500 is about right. Pretty neat that it has the high-comp. engine! Maybe add a little $ for that.

A similarly nice one sold last spring. Guy was asking $7500 IIRC, which I thought was a lot for 4-dr. - I was going to offer $5k but it had already sold so... No idea what he took.

    Be still my Buick heart.

I would absolutely drive the wheels off of that gem. Look at that original overflow tank!

I need to hit the lottery and also need to build a 40' x 60' garage.

I would start at $8500 based on how many agree on $7500. There will be more than one buyer for that car and as clean as it is it will sell quickly.

Well, I guess the consensus has spoken. Two door Buicks are undervalued and add another two doors, it's worth scrap plus 10%... Tongue in cheek of course, but damn. that's kinda sad when I have seen four doors with a bowtie on the grill sell for 15k+ in half the shape that this Buick is in. Best of luck to the seller. I think it's a nice car.

4 door sedan vs 4 door hardtop is huge. I agree with the 7.5k ish range on this ride. 350" looks fresh. Maybe add some if there's been a recent investment in a quality rebuild. A/C works add some more.

Agreed 4 doors equals 1/2 price Normally. This specimen looks awful clean, I can't believe it has 116,000 miles and looks that fresh. Someone gave that car a lot of special attention.

Thanks guys. The daughter says the car has been loved its entire life. Her 89 year old mother dusts it off weekly, even though it hasn’t been driven in 5 years plus.

Ok, got to add my 2 cents worth.
Love the total condition of the car. Can guess it's never been in the snow.
    Love the color combo.
Like the A/C. Hope it works.
Love that it has a High Performance 350. 4 barrel too.
Interior is very clean. Bet it would be a killer with Deluxe interior.
I see someone added a passenger side mirror.
A set of Rally rims would look great.
The one big negitive issue, hasn't run in 5 years.
Wonder if the owner at least stared the car?wonder how long the gas has been in the tank?
I wouldn't think this is a trun-key, drive it out of the garage?

Ok, I agree, this car is way to nice to sell less than $7,500.

I wonder what it would take to weld up the back doors and bodywork it to look like a 2-door? It would be so tempting to clone this car at such a low price. You might be able to flip it for a profit or keep it because you really like it. All good questions.

To bad I don't have deeper pockets. VET

Is it possible it still has spring ring cables? Looks like the positive is off the battery. Remarkable condition. Are we sure it's 116K? That driver seat says 16k. There must have been plastic over it the until more recently. I think I see the remnants of the original engine sticker on the front of the left valve cover and no way could that be the original engine paint at 116.

That 4 door sedan probably drives 20x better than any coupe or convertible out there. These are such solid feeling cars going down the road.
