I have to say that I have built many ford products mainly Boss and CJ cars. Then I decided to build a 70 Trans am.Its my favorite driver it feels like a slot car.I still like the Fords but boy does that GM drive nice. So I thought now that I'm in my early 50s,why not add some luxury muscle, so I decided to purchase a Bad Boy 70 GSX QQ Stage1 Four Speed Car.All I can say is what you guys new all along,WOW amazing,I love this car so much it's turned me into a buick guy! So I purchased Mike M .70 10 10 Four Speed GSX. The car should be delivered to my shop Mascar Autobody within the next two weeks. Mike has been amazing to work with,I'm so excited I can't wait to put this next to my yellow one!! Thanks for letting me rant on your site, Im very excited Ken Maisano
Here's what he is getting. Al Fiandaca's GSX. Well known car on the east coast. Sorry to let it go but I've had it eight years. Time for a new home. Now I'm down to just one GS. My 70GS Stage1 that I accidentally bought on eBay with a price I thought they wouldn't accept. I lived in Beijing at the time and the car was in Japan. I had it shipped to Mike Garrison who did a great job straightening it out including paint and new vinyl top. Mike is the man. If you want my advice don't do this. It was stupidly expensive to reimport a car back to the USA. But I'm surprised to say I don't regret it. I'll miss the GSX. Looks great. Drives great. Hope Ken enjoys it Couple of pics.
Mascar is in Costa Mesa Ca. If anyone on this site knows any past history on the White GSX . I would love to here about it. My Yellow one didn't have much on it besides the historical report. And I ended up finding the history right down to the orignal owner and purchasing back some orignal parts! That's really the fun part is the search.I am more than willing to pay for any time someone puts into writing me a email, sending pictures ect, ect. As Mike said,This is Al's old car and is known from the East Coast. From what I understand, the car was raced for the first Ten year of its life. I would love to find pictures or get the story on that. Thanks Ken Maisano Mascar Autobody
Congratulations Ken, and thank you for registering your GSX with both the GSX and Stage1 registries. Al hasn't been on in over a year, but I PM'd you his last known email. Have a great day!
There is one hell of a good story about Al's car..I have seen, touched and ogled it. He is the best one who could fill you in on it..If you knew what this poor car has been through, you will appreciate it all the more!!
Can you please fill me in? I have sent him a email but I'm not sure if its his current email or not.Would love to hear the story. thank you
