Not on the takeoff, no. But it's stripped to the bare necessities so would probably have it in the long run.

 

first you were sure.. now it's "probably"... make up your mind.. and just for the record, your truck wouldn't stand a chance. that cobra r goes 0-60 in 4.7 like i said, and 0-100 in 11 seconds... and the new cobra gt500 is faster.. same engine only supercharged... kiss your truck goodbye...

The only GTO around here that I have seen is a guy that appears to be in his 60's, maybe older even, and he drives it like you see a lot of grandma's and grandpa's drive cars, 10 or more mph below the limit. I like the new shelby better than the GTO. Not saying they aren't good cars, it's my personal opinion. No offense intended on the Grandma/Grandpa thing either, there are a lot that don't drive slow, but I see a lot around here that do.

I have seen a few Cobra R's for sale on ebay every once in awhile. Nice cars. The big wing on the Cobra R always helps me keep it memorized from other red cobras, that and the side exit exhaust. :bglasses:

When was the last time Ford made a normally aspirated car that would run? Imagine GM supercharging or turbocharging their line of V8's. GM makes V8 HP the old fashoned way, normally aspirated grunt. Modular

I think it's like a good movie. The sequels are never as good as the first one. Just a thought.
Also in my opinion, they don't build muscle cars like they did in the 60's and 70's. It's just not the same no matter how much they may try. :boring:

Chris,I would buy only the Eleanor from Gone In 60 Second, or a new Roush, Saleen, or if they still have the Mach 1. And maybe that new one too. I'm not a Ford fan.

I saw this car at the Nyc auto show its nice. If memory serves it comes with a suicide stick also.

Iwasn't a real fan of Gone in 60 seconds and that color....Yuck! My glorious opinion...
