I ran over an Armadillo once. I was cruizing in Louisiana driving my beater 54 Chevy 150. Darn thing dented the bottom of the fender. I was used to "squish" with roadkill. This was "BOOOOM"
can someone tell me how a goose gets hit by a car?!!? First of all it isn't like they dart out in front of you so you don't have time to see them. They waddle across the road. Then, did the goose forget he has wings and that he could fly to the other side of the road. Have you ever noticed they always want to get to the side of the road that doesn't have water on it. Is the grass really that much better on the other side!!

Im cruisin' down the interstate @ 75mph at nite and at the last second see a WHOLE FAMILY of PorkyPines waddling across the road - Mom, Dad, and about 7 'lil ones. There was time to think about hitting the brakes, and just enough left over to realize that would be a Baddd mistake with the that load behind me. Poor porkypines :ball: My mom use to have a porkypine as a pet named Splinter. Don't think it would be a good pet to cuddle up to. Did you know they have really soft bellys. It works out pretty good, that way you don't have to fight with their pines trying to get the Cheese Wiz on them.
