Well, IT's DONE!!! Woooo Hoooo!!! I even drove her to work today!!! Finished last night at 10:30. Here's a before pic.
Duane Heckman did a helluva job installing the covers. The buns I bought were excessively large and required lots of trimming to fit. I also had the requisite broken springs that he fixed as well. THANK YOU DUANE!!!!!!!
The driver's door armrest was recovered with a "Just Dashes" type of technique where vinyl is heated up and vacuum formed over the old piece. This armrest was in pretty bad shape and had chunks missing and cracks galore.
Very nice Yardley- I'll bet that factory push button AM can really "thump" those new speakers  Hidden stereo i presume?
Looks great Yardley, I think a nice interior makes the biggest difference in the feel of driving an old car. That interior looks fantastic!
Here is where the stereo is located, just over the console under the dash - which was very difficult to reach while driving, but I didn't have to hack apart the dash to install it. I have an amp under the passenger seat that drives the door speakers and an amp in the trunk that drives the rear speakers. It rocks!
Damn that's a great looking interior. Just another one of the advantages of a owning a Buick over a Chevy or Pontiac etc. Olds had some nice interiors too.
:ball: :ball: Your old one looks better than my new one  Anyway, it looks very, very nice. Congrats. Per. :beer
Nice yob Jeff! Makes a world of difference. :TU: Now its time to move on to item #2639 which would be? o No:
nice. but now you cant complain about those long drives to various buick events. your car looks more comfortable then my living room. :TU:
NICE!!! New interiors are SUCH a boost!!! :TU: :TU: :TU: (ok, so now - go ahead and pour some coffee on the carpet, and get that "first spill" over with...you'll feel much better afterwards... :Brow: )
