luckily enough my friend works at a (very nice) body shop. Asked the owner for an estimate to paint my car, he said the cheapest he can do is 10k because he doesnt want his name on it if its a crappy paint job. Maybe ill talk to him a little. Ill at least sand it down to metal (or whatever im going to run into...) and see where theres bondo. Thanks
just out of curiosity, does anyone have a picture of the window without the chrome on (like my picture)? Just in case i need something to copy later on. Thanks
I don't have any pics,but I know that the Wildcat has rear window trim that is unique to the Wildcat.The LeSabre is different. The LeSabre glass is more flush ,whereas the Wildcat has a more "frenched"in rear glass,much like the special at that time,Olds Delta 88 Royale of the same years-'69 and '70. I just junked out a '69 Wildcat 2dr,but I don't remember if I saved the rear trim.I would have to look when I go to the storage barn on Friday.
