    Hi

I'm here as well. I don't check this forum very often.

    I live in downtown Vancouver.

Let me know if I can help you in any way.

Do you guys drive your cars?

There is a BCA Oregon region picnic at the Brooks exit off I-5 on Sunday August 15.

Let me know if you are going - maybe we can hook up.

Is anyone from the Pacific Northwest area coming over to Spokane Washington for the Good Guys car show on August 20-22? Sure would be great to have a row "Buicks" I'll have our 70 GS there.

Capt_Dunzell - This is a friendly group - Please let us know what your name is. Thanks.

Yes, Let me know when you want to hook up. I am usually out and around the area with my Buick. Sometimes I go to the WED. night PIR cruise-in. Also usually somewhere else on the weekends. Cars are for driving.

Larry - I will be in Spokane for the GoodGuys event. Getting Buick together would be great, but I travel with a guy in a 56 Ford pickup and we always park together. Maybe we could add a Buick sticker when he isn't looking. I'm always telling him he should have a Buick.

Anyway I will look forward to meeting you. Met a bunch of the guys on here at Puyallup in June. Always good to know Buick people.

    Hi Dukec,
Sounds great! Looking forward to meeting you. I will probably be parked with a freind that has a 40 Buick convert. Your 48 looks great. I will be there bright and early Friday morning the 20th. Take care and have a safe trip.

Mine is drivable but it needs some work, The rear axle is making some noises, The last time I pulled the cover it scared me so bad that i quickly put it back on.:eek2: 455+ woodburn drags:3gears:+ stock 10 bolt = bad things. I also am currently running a sorry 3 core radiator, so I gota be carefull on the hot days. What it really comes to is I have been putting all my effort into my jeep and my new house. I need to start putting some bucks into my buick again. :TU:

    Brock,

There's a guy down in Camas who did the rear in my 71 GS455. His prices seemed pretty decent. What he did was get all the pieces, then there's a company over in OR that does all the assembly and setup. I put several hundred passes on it at PR in Kent and Bremerton before I sold it. That was in a mid 13 second car.

    They're a Chevelle place called R&R Racing.

    Brock,
You can also find some pretty unbelievable prices on brass/copper four core radiators on the internet. I scored a new crossflow four core for my 70 GS for $156.00 delivered to my doorstep. The place I got it from was Radiator Barn. Great people to deal with, had it delivered in 3 days. Hope you can make it over to Spokane for the show. Take care.

Thanks guy's. I will check into Chevelle racing. but I will most likely build up a dana 60 myself. I will also look into the radiator. That is a decent price. As for the meet unfortunaltly I will miss both the local buick shows this year. I will be in Donnar california judging a 4x4 rock crawl competition event, Then taking my jeep on some trails afterwards.

    Oregon City, Oregon here.

I don't get out to many Cruise-in's but I do go to PIR for the late night drags once in a while.

Might hit some Cruise-in's later this summer. The Wednesday night PIR cruise sounds fun!

    Dukec,

Where can I find some details about the Brooks BCA show?
    Start time and directions mostly.

The BCA picnic is at the Antique Power Museum just west of I-5 at the Brooks exit. This exit is between Woodburn and Salem.

I can't remember if it starts at 11 or noon on Sunday.

I will check my info when I get back home later in the week.

    Hope you can make it.
