Cocoa Pete, WHO dodged a bullet? I think you were the one that prayed for that rain. ray: You better get those crops harvested in time and show up at Martin! That's all I have to say. Now, Terry....... he want's me to bring a skirt and whoever looses, has to wear it! (I don't think I have one in your size though. I'll be sure to get one!) p
Best line of the weekend: Pam (Benoit's wife) was bragging about how he still has a six pack (not the beer or Mopar type). Copo's response-- Well.... I have a Keg!!!!  I just hope the company calls me up for a sales meeting about October 11th or October 18th. I want to square up with Maher's Zed!!!!!!:spank:
Julie, that is not much of a wager on your part....... now put the skirt on Terry if you lose, there's a bet where nobody wins.....
Hello Pure Stockers Thank you for all your kind words about the 2010 event. We couldn't of done it with out you. Good ole Mother Nature got us again. Were just glad we didn't get rained out on Friday. We did set a new record though of 156 cars this year. The old record being 150. That is totally awesome. It was a difficult year this year with Dan's shoulder surgery and my sprang ankle. That's why you didn't see much of us at the hotel parking lot party. Infact, I was almost tempted to come out and join in the fun but then my last three brain cells kicked in so I didn't. I did go out to the van to bring the cooler in so I could stick my ankle in ice water. It did help to get me through the week end. I used a different method after I got home Sunday night. It's called Boo Coo Beers, More than one, but less than a million. Were already brain storming some new idea's for the 2011 event and will keep you posted through out the year. So again thanks for your long time support of the event and hope to see you all in 2011. (Pure Stock is the Way to Rock):beer Bob & Dan:3gears:
It was great to see everyone again; this is truly a fabulous group. I too am sorry I didn't get around to seeing everyone. Saturday's rain-out stole with it the usual opportunity of saying hello to folks as we wait in line to race. Out of some frustration we also ended up leaving early without making it around to say good-bye to all our good friends (sorry) -- thanks to all of you for the fun banter and the great memories! As a footnote, Dennis Gage may come to lament that in 2010 My Classic Car was pre-empted in favour of Pure Stock Girls Gone Wild. Cheers!
I would like to thank everyone for a great time. Being my first time racing with you all- the support and advice I recieved meant alot. The parking lot party was a lot of fun, but to quote Tim Clary again "LORD I APOLOGIZE". Sorry if anyone was offended. I blame it on the jigglers! Thanks to all the people who made such a HUGE effort to feed all of us. The food was incredible as always! Hope to see you all at Martin in October!!
It indeed was a great event even with the Saturday rain out. Thanks Dan and Bob and all the volunteers who help keep it the best Muscle Car event on the planet! Hey, Chris, I was really smiling :TU: when I saw we were paired up. It would have been great fun no matter the outcome! Hope we can do it in the future
I'll chime in here too with a big thanks to Bob and Dan. PSMCDR has become more than just a race and we would be lost in September without it! Thanks to all who shared their tasty dishes with us all. Your generosity is awesome! Damn, those meat kabobs are good! As for the "Friday Feast"....ummm....sorry to copy you Tim and Danielle but "LORD I APOLOGIZE" seems to say it all. ou: As for the Jello Jigglers or "Liquor Gigglers", Tami now has purchased enough molds to make 40 per batch and she's planning on ramping up production for our next trip to Michigan. I'm getting the funny feeling that the outcome of the parties Thursday and Friday have inspired her! Paul
you guys are soon going to need a trailer behind the H/O for the all jigglers you plan on bringing
I was VERY much looking forward to it also. This was the first time I wasn't paired up with a Camaro. (69 Berger Z in 2007 and 67 396 in 2009)
What's all this talk of trailer parks, Ho's, and jigglers? o No: Here I thought it was just a little ol' race in a corn field.
Right on Tom! I don't know what anyone is talking about.o No: I believe Tami will be on later to respond to some of the comments about her driving ability. Paul
