Oh yeah, longer rear shackles, air shocks, and big meats. That's the ticket. Don't forget your Mullet!
UPDATE: main and rod bearings checked out OK so I don't have to fix anything in the bottom end. Dodged that bullet. Automotive Machine has my heads done. I was going to pick them up tomorrow but I got called to work tomorrow and Friday all day. Tons of nuts, bolts, & parts to clean in the meantime.
UPDATE: Engine is back together. Trans is done. Exhaust manifolds are NOT done. Luckily, I located another set, asked nicely, and have been granted permission to borrow a set of 429 Cobra Jet exhaust manifolds. Thanks, Ed Nowakowski. Ed has participated many times at the PSMCDR with his Medium Blue Metallic 70 Torino Cobra. Engine is scheduled to be dropped back in tonite. Will post more pictures later.
Ed is a great guy saw him at the US Nationals and watched a bunch of Stockers and Super Stockers with him.It dose not supprise me at all he helped you out.
Beautiful blue. New Hurst Comp/Plus shifter installed on the bench, first. New McLeod clutch. It's in there. Hopefully, fire it up tonite!
Looks excellent Chris! Nice work!! To bad Amy and I won't get to see the first runs in person, but if Donnie has the live action, we will be watching!
Thanks Munson. After struggling to get the damn water tubes to seal up and not drip last nite, finally got it running today! WOOHOO!!!
