I borrowed this picture from the BCA web site (thanks Alicia M.V. :TU: ), I think the documentation on the car says it was a Buick proto-type  Oh, what could have been had they gone thru with it p I kind of reminds me of the 1970(?)Chrysler 300 Hurst edition. Very creative :TU: Looks like you missed this one Brad C. p
And for all these years Mr. Conley has been "portraying" his as the "prototype." What a phony! We deffinitely need to change our V8Buick icon right-away. Get me the moderator please!!!!! :spank:
I believe its the same one as chronicled here. http://forums.aaca.org/showflat.php?Cat=&Number=138419&page=0&view=collapsed&sb=5&o=&fpart=1&vc=1
Funny you should say that, I helped restore Linda Vaughn's '70 300 Hurst convertible about 15 years ago, and was looking at some long lost photo's of it I found yesterday.
I wonder what it would look like painted Saturn Yellow with the correct stripes? I really think this car is cool :bglasses:
Yeah but Brad has every other Buick prototype.....lol I think that there car would be an unusual addition to the other Prototype(different looking not my type of modification to a car) ride... Sorry,I wasn't meaning any disrespect to the owner so I edited the post to be politically correct.Next time someone has anything negative to say,I'll be the first to jump on them. ou:
No, no,,, really, I was admiring her,,, er, um the cars dual front air bags, er,,,, un...... Nevermind p
You should read the link on the BCA site that details the work on this car. The guy put quite a bit of time and work into it so lets keep any "bashing" out of this post. :beer Duane, Your window sticker for the X-Camino says "Experimental" not proto-type p
yeah i don't get why it's referred to as a ghetto or gangsta ride.. this car is just awesome. i wouldn't opt for the rear spoiler personally, but if he is really going to be pushing 160mph i could see why you might want that. p
For a boat this thing is pretty slick looking. Not sure about having any sleeper effect left though. It would be fun to see the look on some WRXers face when he dusts him with the led sled.
The original photo is on the BCA web site and I lust linked the URL :Smarty: Here is a shot of a Hurst 300 (not my car...) :beer
