Air bags, like the Air Lift 1000 are a MUCH better choice.
    ..and new shocks, w/o air.

Well, the title, and post subject have me confused a little.

    Title: "Rear Coil Air Bags"
Does Firestone actually make air bags that go inside the rear coil springs?
If so, the Air-Lift brand may be cheaper (aka a better value), but if you have to have Firestone brand of those, I'd like to see a picture/link.

If "Rear Coil Air Bags" means "Firestone brand air shocks", then I'm confused.

    Never the less,
    goodluck on the parts hunt.

Jim, it just looked like you were replying to the post above yours, and comparing Air-Lift to the Firestones I commented on. These threads tend to wander a bit at times, and it just looked at first like you were replying to my post about Firestone. Yes, Firestone makes in-coil air bag kits, about the same prices as Air-Lift or less. I've been selling them here for years. In fact I sell them at less than Summit sells either brand. :)

I LOVE V8 Buick. I learn new stuff all the time.
Do you think the Firestones work/last any different that other brands?

I doubt if there's a lot of difference, among comparably priced brands. I don't really know who else makes them besides these 2. I've sold Firestone to members here for the past 4-5 years, without any reports of failures. Take that back, had one bag leaking, in a non-approved application. My employer does not normally work with the coil spring style kits, I only sell them here as a favor to members, cheaper than other typical sources, since I have access to the product. We normally work with truck applications, with the Ride-Rite brand.

Mike, are you still interested? Still have 1 kit on the shelf here.
