I have a pair off my 70 GS that I am taking to them tomorrow morning at the Auto Fair at Lowes Motor Speedway. I post tomorrow night what they quote me.

I guess they went up since Wednesday! They quoted me $400 for the front and $425 for the rear. Maybe they are charging me freight to haul them on their truck! I am picking them up when they return in April. I guess that is $850 to within 20 miles from home. Not bad I guess.

Humm maybe the price went up? :Do No:

    Does that include Tax?

If they bring them to Carlisle they do have to charge TAX. :Dou:

It may have gone up a little, but if I remember correctly, they may have quoted me the same thing, but it came in a little cheaper, like$25 or so. Even at $400, I think it's worth it. You are going to pay that +/- $50 anywhere you go. You might as well go with someone who has a good reputation. I think the rep speaks for itself and is worth a couple extra bucks. I would give them the benefit of the doubt "if it was me".

First off, I'm surprised you guys didn't bust me on my math above. $400 plus 425 would be 825 not 850! I went to school in KY. I've got the work order/invoice in front of me. It says F 400, R 425 total sales amount 825. Then he put a check mark beside sales tax so I am assuming I will have to pay tax when I pick them up.
