Thanks again. I am very happy with the way it is turning out.

That looks really nice. Mine looks exactly the way yours used too right now. I'm getting ready to pull the trigger on some "for-now" steelies and a set of springs to make it right. I am running 27560r15's and I was told in another thread that I'd be able to get by with 4 inches of backspacing. Do you think that's accurate?? I noticed you went with the 3 3/4...

By the way, thanks for remembering and taking the time to upload those pics after all this time!!! Nothing makes a car conversation click like seeing pictures of what you've been discussing.

Backspacing needs will depend on the wheel width. If you are running 275 tires I assume the wheel will be at least 8"? If that is the case then you'll need 4.5", preferably 5", of backspacing with a 275 tire. Don't take chances. It's takes all the pleasure out of a new wheel/tire combo when you get 'em on there and they rub the fenders under the slightest amount of suspension travel.

Yeah, my tires are on 8 inch wheels now that have 3 inch backspacing, which is obviously way too little. I was thinking 4" would be enough (ive been told) but maybe 4.5 or more to be safe? Who else is running this tire/wheel size and what backspacing are you using?
