It was red when I bought it maybe 15 years ago. At some point it faded.

Andrew is a junior at UT and is a car nut. I think it's funny that his dream car is a C5, because that was the car that caught his eye when he was young...

That is the same thing that happened with us old guys!

Yeah Frank - this is a great thread! Keep the pictures coming, and maybe share your parts and processes list with us.

It's great that you have family participation. My 2.5 year old daughter always grabs her plastic hammer to come "help daddy work on his old car". I love it!

    Best Wishes,

Sure it was red, we all believe you. I have always heard that a real man that was comfortalbe with his manhood could wear a pink shirt. Maybe a pink floor jack falls into the same category.

Hope you know I am just raggin you.

    A C5? Not a bad dream car.

Somewhere down the road after the Wildcat is in good shape, I want to build a Cobra Replica. That would be my dream toy at this point.

In fact, that is what brought my Buick out of storage. I was looking seriously at building a Cobra and my Wife was serious about me not doing it. One day she said: "Why don't you bring your Buick home and just rebuild it?" Now she thinks I set her up by talking about the Cobra. I will never tell. She is sort of behind me with the Buick because it was my first car and we dated in it before we were married.

I can't wait to get it back in shape so we can date in it again.
