Unfortunate sign of attitudes today, No care & usually no accountability thanks to bleeding heart liberals feeling sorry for the perpetrators. They need to be maken an example of as a deterrent. That's all I got that won't get me in strife with the mods or hasn't been posted already
Since I'm not readily able to carry any type of firearm, a Hulk Hogan stye body slam directly onto pavement would be my solution.
All muscle car magazines in existence should take notice and post that picture. If found who they are they should post their names and addresses. Make them persona non grata in all car circles.
No need to draw and quarter them... As long as the damage is quickly fixed to the owner's satisfaction and the culprits learn their lesson. I believe in redemption. I'm sure everyone in here has done something just as stupid. I know I have.
I'd be pissed at myself.. Just for starters I know there are idiots & thiefs in the world. If I was to leave my wallet, cell phone ETC on the dash board ( in plane sight))and went into a tavern for a beer. I come out find IT missing. Hum I advertised its there. The OLDs has a deck on the trunk that just invites idiots... Damit why did I leave my wallet in plane sight. with the window down..
Who the hell does that? If it was some idiot spectator it wouldn't be a surprise, but other car owners??
I agree Keith! Last November at MCACAN there were 4 of us around both GSX's at all times. It is amazing what some will do!
Like I said in the Oldsmobile tread I am 6 2 245lbs not fat the look I got from the guy that punched the window on my GS was priceless He was 57 160 lbs .I never pop out of one of my cars so fast Alain
Saw the post on the Olds site, I hope the guilty parties come forward and make it right. Betting no one meant to damage anything, but this was not one of those time to ask for forgiveness instead of permission first Makes me almost glad my 65 looks like a rat rod, catch people all the time leaning on it, a few idiots peaking the flaking paint Regards,
I may have missed it, but I didn't see you leave your spot @ MCACN and of course we know why. Any sign of him there? It was nice to meet you finally and good to see the cars again.
The guy in the photo holding the shifter came forward the first day the photos were posted on FB. He is also a Hurst Old owner and his response says he has reached out to the owner (Joe) of the damaged car. Hopefully this will be resolved. And to the guys on here that claim they would shoot someone for doing that to your car, I hope you are just being big talkers and not serious. We should all have insurance on our cars to cover any damage or loss but no insurance gets you out of jail.
Oh come on Gary...You know I wouldn't/couldn't do that. Yes, said in the heat of the moment and I'm sure the thoughts cross everyone's mind at one time or another but we are adults (sometimes - I do act stupid at times) after all. All of my car's are insured and to a pretty substantial value but that does not give anyone the right to damage anything I own. Or you own for that matter. We are supposedly a civilized society with laws to protect the innocent. Sometimes I wonder.
Yes, Scott was there and yes, I did leave my spot for a short time. There were still others around the cars though
