    Hi Duane,

Yes, I was planning in using them on my 70 X. If they can be installed without major issues (and uninstalled if needed) then I would probably add them for own personal convenience to keep things looks neat and tidy. I don't like the belts sliding around and laying all over the place.

Any chance someone has pics of these installed with the belts clipped in place on the holders?

Thanks for the heads up Duane!!

I don't have any pics of them installed from my former '71, but I had to lift up the rear seat, and then drill holes in the bottom of the seat frame to screw the seatbelt holders in.

Is this install shown in the assembly manual? I'll look through but thought I'd ask to see if someone knows for sure.

    Thanks!

    >>I don't believe the install is shown in the assembly manual but I have a 1972 manual and will take a look later today if no one answers first.

Thanks Chris! If you find it in your 72 manual and scan the page I'd appreciate it!!

    Hi Rob,

I looked through my '72 assembly manual but did not see anything about the seatbelt holders. Like I mentioned before, they are easy to install - just pull the rear belts down straight, make pencil marks on the rear seat frame where you willl mount the seatbelt holders, then lift up the rear seat, drill your screw holes, screw in the seatbelt holders and put the rear seat back in place.

There will not be any installation pictures in the assembly manuals. Those parts were installed by Fisher Body, not by Buick or GMAD during final assembly.

I did not know they were an option either, did they come standard with deluxe seat belts? I have never seen an option code for them to be added to a car separtely so they must have been part of a package :Do No:

I have a set in the GM box that must have been sold through the dealer and here is the installation sheet that was in the box, pretty rough shape. It only shows the rear installation.

Mine are not for sale :bla:

    >>I don't believe that the seatbelt holders came standard with deluxe belts as my '72 is all original with the original deluxe seat belts and no seatbelt holders.

Not sure, I know if you ordered rear shoulder belts in a convertible in '68 you got a set to hold the shoulder belt buckles.
I know someone with a '72 Stage 1 coupe that has them, he also has the build sheet and it does not show them on it :Do No:

The 71 Skylark convertible we got recently has them, and my old 71 350 GSX has them.
