Sounds like he is playing your song! Show him your "Frequent GS Buyers Membership Card" and let him know every 5th one is free and his '69 happens to be number 5. His only other option is to pay you to take it away, so your giving him a huge break. :kodak: no matter what!
Funny- I was thinking out loud yesterday about the 69 GS and what my possible plans were. I figured if I could get the car for $600, I could buy a replacement frame for another $600 and swap it out. Jen said, "yeah, after all that BS you'll have a $1200 car". ou: She's right....again
Sounds like my wife, she's hung around me to much, I can't BS her as successfully anymore,...sucks HA, I do have more money in the bank, purely coincidental im sure
Looks like the 69 GS is coming home. I struck a deal with the seller and I made plans to pick it up Sunday.
Nice! :beer I wish i could have cars like that fall into my lap! But then Id have more projects than I can handle. Still, a nice problem to have..
No BS here either, but my biggest fear after I die, is that she will sell everything for I told her paid.
Me, "If I die, you'll probably give all my cars to your next husband." Her, "No. I'd never do that." Me, "And my model car and magazine collections as well." Her, "No. Really Jer? Never happen." Me, "You'll even give him my favorite softball glove." Her, "No, he's right-handed."
Jennifer already told me to get rid of all my crap before I die. I can picture my wake....not a person will be there. Everyone will be dumpster diving in my drivewayou: You have a model car collection? uzzled:
Yeah, I think my membership is going to get revoked before the ink is dry on the ID card! :bla:This car has a date with Mr gas axe!
Yes, I still have many of them from the sixties, when I built them. I also have my old Tonka & Buddy-L truck from the 50's. Then I have die cast that is more recent.
That '69 had a perfectly aligned front grille if I'm remembering correctly. Wish I was a lot closer, the bumpers and a bunch of other stuff looked really nice!
Nice! me too. I still have a few that I built way back when. I have quite a few unbuilt kits for the 60's and 70's. You should post up a thread about them. I'd love to see what you have. I still find myself buying plastic models once in a while.
