Toyota HiLux My 95 Toyota Hilux, as it's called here in Denmark ! It's a 4 banger diesel, with a 5 speed trans. It's sloooow, but reliable !
'68 GTO, silver with black around the back window; 400 2 bbl Ram Air, bucket seats no console column shift automatic, Rally I wheels with redlines. Wish we still had it.
Here is my driver, right now it just tows my fat butt, but I'm getting a trailer next month and it will be my tow rig then.
Small but Mighty She has the V-6 Supercharged motor and she pulls My Kat like she aint even back there and she will stop on a dime and give 6 cents change! But I don't think that I would use her to pull her all over the Country,I have my Buddy's Dodge Ram for that!
Keith: That pic looks like it was taken at Milan back "in the days". I can't believe that Corvair pic. Surprised it didn't pull the back half right off it. Also recall the size of the Gen I Corvair brakes. Your Dad had balls of steel! :TU:
1964 Ford 1-ton 390 Sold this one several years ago. Sometimes I wish I had it back, until I recall how bad the mileage was.....and the 58 mph top speed. I'll stick with modern fuel injection from now on.
Lapeer - That's "Lapeer International Raceway", buddy. Still looks like that today. I remember when you had to bring your own water to do your burnout (...uh, about 2 years ago...). K
Duramax's RULE! My Beast. I love IT! :3gears: PPE programmer, K&N, and 4" stainless exhaust. :3gears:
Thanks...It was almost Black... I almost had a Black one but it was an extended carb and the Mrs. talked me into a Crew Cab. I have to fit the pit Crew somewhere. I sit in the front, what do I care, right? :beer The Silver Birch is less maintenance..
They are great trucks! :TU: Here's my new Silverado Duramax LT I picked up in October. Threw the Banks 6 Gun chip and adjustable control on it, along with an exhaust pyrometer. I'm really impressed. Kinda hard on the rubber though. :Brow:
heres mine...........'04 have 18,000 mi on it now and it has been great. On the highway it gets over 23mpg and has gotten 24.3,but I have to stay at or below 2000rpm(65mph). Tows awesome.
I'll get some pics of mine on sometime. I use my 81 Custom Deluxe. It has a 305/350 with a 40 bolt rear end. It is only 4x2 so I got mudgrips on the back. It has a goosneck where it used to haul a cattle trailer, but now I just use the bumper hitch. It doesn't tow anything right now 'cause I killed the tranny.
Don't know that those colors are normally compatible but looks strangely nice on that truck. A good lookin' older Dodge truck. :TU:
