    I'm retired as well bro! And if I lived closer, I'd be in for galumpkis and beer.

    Heard a Florida joke today. Dateline Feb. 2, 2018: One palm tree says to another, "I saw my shadow today." The other palm tree says, "I guess another 12 months of sunshine." Sorry, LMAO!!!!!!!!!

    It already rained here, turned the whole world into an ice rink. The problem is my car doesn't know how to skate.

    Should of had your car watch the Olympics tonight. They were hauling butt on skates for Olympic standards, but not quite racecar standards. So my son and I ducked out after the family dinner. We walked across the street to neighbor John's house. He's so close to firing up his newly restored Camero. Yeah, I know... A Chevy. We took beer with us as we trudged through the newly dewed on, moist, warm grass. My toes were all wet in my flip flops. Luckily John had his fan on in his opened door garage. It was warm in there. I was going to take my shirt off so my beer belly could cool off. 12:50 and it is 73 degrees on my screen porch.

    Well, finally the part showed up for my furnace and is installed working like a champ now!

    The US post office's creed is suppose to be "Neither snow nor rain nor heat nor gloom of night stays these couriers from the swift completion of their appointed rounds"

    When I wasn't here yesterday it read in the tracking that there was "No Access" and my furnace part was not delivered! I don't keep the snow cleared off of my driveway, but it gets packed down pretty good from driving on it. With the above creed, these new age couriers are refusing to get out of the little Jeep to walk on a little bit of snow? WTH?!

    Why isn't that creed being held to? What has this country become? Very sad!

    Anyway, here is the part I had to replace;

    They're calling it a "FURNACE DRAFT INDUCER BLOWER MOTOR" whatever that is? Anyway the brand new used one is in and working the way it is supposed to after roughing it for about 2 1/2 weeks without a working furnace.

    It figures the weather is not as cold now that the furnace is fixed and is suppose to be on the milder side for the next week!

    It has to come in at a certain point of the start up cycle. It provided positive exhaust flow up the flue pipe. One of the orange hoses goes to a diaphragm switch which must be sucked in to proof that the blower is working before the igniter will light. Once its glowing another sensor will tell the gas regulator its ok to open.any one of these things dont happen in the right order at the correct time you get no heat.
