I got the details, thanks. Congratulations on a stellar performance! Looks like you'll be fitting for a Pontiac crown in September. Where do I sign up for your "drivers wanted" club. Seems I could use some lessons. Cheers!

I would like to also thank Paul Petcou for his help with the tech as well. Also to thank all quick 8 participants for not having a problem with pulling a valve cover and for JJ and Bob K for P&Ging. Congrats to Bob for stepping up to the plate with his Hemi Cuda. I knew a dual carbed, cast iron headered car had 11's in it! :eek2:

    Aspirin, not sleep

Maybe just an early morning blood transfusion might have done the trick :Do No:

Didn't have enough blood in his alcohol system

    Too much fun.

We should have been charged extra for the fun we had at the 2 day event, and of course the parking lot tailgateing.
As I told Bruno, while his girlfriend was forcing lamb kabobs down our neck, this is as much fun as you can have with your clothes on.
My brother -in- law Chris and I have been hanging with you guys since Norwalk 2003 and have never met a better group of guys to hang out with and drag race cars. Seems like high school all over again.
Even though they did'nt teach the Benoitment theory in class, we sure got a education from the RAGIN CAJUN and the burnout box.
First time officially running the blue lemans convert and was pround of the 13.44 @104.00 +.Other than the heat during the day this was a time to remember seeing old friends and meeting new ones who are interested in driving these cars like they were someone elses.
Dave H., I am glad you got the set of tire from YEAR ONE.
Benoit. I will be looking very close at your manifolds in Sept for any thing fishy in the extrude honeing certificate you one. Ha Ha. :Smarty:
    As a final thought, I think we can all agree on;

    Hotel room for 2 days---$165.00
    Gas for round trip--$250.00
    Food and Bottled water---$120.00
New trailer to get to race---$2500.00 :Dou:
    Last minute parts for car---$300.00
Spending 2 days with a group of guys and gals
who now how to stop and smell the rose's once in a while.---PRICLESS!

Don, give Chris a message for me...

Tell Chris dinner is on me in September, I owe him for that mis-match of a pairing that we ended up with :Do No:
Remind him to buy a set of Wide Ovals before September, 13's are in that car,but not without the 60' the new bias ply's will provide :Smarty:

    Don:

You and Chris are the greatest. I think 2003, when you started this, you two had dinner with my brother Rick and I at Ponderosa in Norwalk. Great times, you guys add a lot to this.......even if you're both faster than I am........right now! Your car is perfect, don't change a thing. :bglasses: :bglasses: :bglasses:
