I've owned (past tense) a few fords and you're right, I won't own another one. That being said if the man's got the itch and the means to scratch it (and maintain it's problems) then I say let him go for it. Older European sports cars have their quirks too but people still love and buy them.
Now? Been there. Done it all. And more. Still have the car disease. (1)Cataract surgery on both near(now far)sighted eyes. (1)knee replacement,(1)shattered/ pinned lower leg (1) broken hip surgery, now fully equipped w/nails rods & pins. Having disposed of any more "gotta/need to before"arguments, I'd kinda like a 72 Volvo 1800e(souped up a little) a 56 Lincoln,a 66 Corvair Corsa Turbo convertible, a 61 Pontiac Ventura bubbletop,a 67 XKE convertible, a and a garage for all of them. BUT,none of these until after I have a 67 Wildcat and a clone to Nick's 67 GS400. Age and frailty ain't a cure. I'm a busted up septugenarian. I know. So go get your Cobra!
I can't remember who said it but it was on here by someone who owns a replica. "Cobras are like boobs, even when they are fake they are still fun."
Get one of these. They're bad to the bone. https://www.superformance.com/?gcli...c2caaWv5vYt0cgQkcVKdvf-IQb-27mfAaAt_FEALw_wcB
"my Cobra is 12 years old now and it is a Factory Five Cobra. I built it myself. My best description of Cobras is: Cobras are like boobs....... even the fake ones are a lot of fun!" Cobravll May 20 2019 in "changed title to "COMPLETED"!!!"

4 .... and they're all slow and break down all the time. That's why I keep them even though I run the shop at a Chevy/Caddy dealer.
At least doesnt have PS. Youll get to miss that "It drives like a Ford when yer drunk" feeling! The best part is it aint a dodge! ws
Oooooo I need some popcorn I see the gloves coming off now. Time to lurk in the shadows and watch this unfold.
Since being diagnosed with cancer two years ago, I’ve come to a point where I say a special phrase to myself before doing or buying anything that requires me to think about it for more than an hour: “Do what makes you smile.”
went today to HRE Motorsports today to talk to the owner. Hes got alot of contacts in the cobra world. Hes gonna make some calls.
I love my Aquamist GS, but....I took it out yesterday to attend a cruise night. My God, Ive been driving the Challenger so much that driving the GS felt like driving a covered wagon. It was hot out and Im sitting on black vinyl seats, the Polyglass's were rock hard and I was in the right lane winding the engine up to 3200 and barely keeping up with traffic
