How many strange, unique or cool street names have you come across. I saw one the other day that made me laugh. It was in Bellevue NE called "Wright Way". I wondered if they named one somewhere "Wrong Way" that went the other way!

Anyway, tell me what you've seen.

Not a street name but a sign i saw on the highway on the way to Bristol. It was certainly surprising when i first saw it.:Dou: This would go in the strange category.:Dou: :error:

I have a bad photo of that somewhere - took it through the windshield. I'll see if I can dig it up and scan it.

I found the above on the map...near where I-71 splits off from I-75 in Northern Kentucky. Big Bone Lick State Park...looks like the nearest town of any size is, believe it or not, Beaverlick . :bglasses:

If that sign is in wisconsin, it's probably for "Richard 'Dick' Bong" who flew a P-38 Lightning in WWII and was from central Wisconsin. The place in Oshkosh has an exhibit of him next to a real P-38, which is a very cool plane. :TU:

I know there is also the "Bong Memorail Bridge between Duluth, MN. and Superior, WI.
When I first crossed it, I had no idea why it was named as such. Since that time, I've learned more about it.

We have an "Easy Street" in Winnipeg, MB

There is also an "Intercourse, PA." just east of Lancaster, you pass through "Bird in Hand" to get there:Brow: Right next to Amish Farm point of interest.

Sure I'll think of more later:beer
