While not street names, the east coast of Canada has some interesting town or community monikers. In Newfoundland it is pretty hard to beat Heart's Delight.Even harder to beat Dildo(although rumor has it the name after a couple of hundred years is being changed to Baytona). There are numerous Bights and Tickles too.In Nova Scotia there is Hectanooga, Ecum Secum and Mooseland among others. I've heard of Intercourse, Blue Ball is West of Carlilse. Towns near me, and north of me we have Eighty-Four (the name isn't funny but is strange), Wilmerding, Wampam, Mars, Venus, Hooker (with Hooker Road running through it), Lickingville, Experiment. PA is full of funny town names. Thank the Amish for that.

Can't think of many funny road names. Near my property in Clarion is a Tar Kiln Road. Also there's an Easy Drive. Strip Job Road intersects it. Cross over Rt 66 and you got Licking Road, it takes you to Lickingville, home of what was the Zig Zag Bar. They sold T-shirts that said "The Zig Zag Bar, 69 Beaver St, Lickingville PA" but there is no Beaver St in Lickingville.

Little town on the Canadian border reads: "Entering SUMAS". The other side says "Leaving SUMas". :Comp:

I was in south part of town, and remembered Planet St.
Of course, what good would this be without:
    Mercury Bay,
    Venus Bay,
    Mars Drive,
    Jupiter Bay,
    Saturn Bay, and....
    Neptune Bay.
For that "out of this world" living experience:Brow:
Don't know what happened to Uranus and Pluto, probably ran out of real estate in that area...:Do No:

Whats the name of that restaurant???

We have a restaurant located near Hood Canal near Bremerton that had its name in LARGE letters on top of the building. They said "CANAL ZONE"

Someone one night got up there and knocked down the "C" so that I said "ANAL ZONE"

After that the owner wasn't able to keep the letter "C" up for more then a few days before someone would knock it over.

Finally one day while I was driving by I saw him up there knocking over ALL the letters with a huge sledge hammer. Guess he had had enough!

Chris P. do you remember seeing that??
