As in the past, I'm extending an open invite to my Pure Stock and FAST brethren...the itenerary is as follows: Friday, Aug. 17: "Meet & Greet" at the host hotel parking lot, the Hollywood Casino in Joliet. Saturday, aug. 18: the SCR itself has 5 time slots, starting at 12:30pm and the last one scheduled for 8:50pm...but, immediately following each of the first 4 scheduled slots is a 75 minute "test 'n' tune", which we can run in as well, so you should be able to make lots of passes. Saturday evening will feature an "Opening Ceremonies" at 7pm, followed by a couple of special match races, exhibition racing by Nostalgia Funnycars and Pro-stocks, Gassers and our the Supercar Reunion group. BTW: the tech guy said as long as your factory stock you're good down to 11.50 without a bar (included convertibles he said). If anyone is interested, please let me know, as they would like a head count for those of us in the SCR...

I'm trying to pull this one off. Been super busy and kinda overwhelmed lately. There rebuilding the road and whole downtown ( water mains, Gas, sidewalks, curbs, street lights ) Been KILLING business- so I've been doin projects around the store that I have wanted to do ,but been to busy for. Trying to make lemonade out of Lemons..... Definately bringing my new easy ups ,big fans and generator this year. Ashphalt and Hundred degrees don't agree with me. Just don't know what car will be ready. So after all that, put me down as a definate Maybe.o No:

I actually reminded him last night at a car show. He may be there for part of it, but has a party in the evening he was invited to. I thought about going but never heard back on the trim ring and center cap thing so I most likely wont go .I hate pulling that stuff off and the tech guys are dicks there
