Supercar Reunion 2011 @ Rt. 66 - any PS/FAST interest?

    I threw this up here for those of you who haven't taken a peek in the Supercar Reunion video thread...

    With the closing of Gateway International, we were forced to move/rethink the Supercar Reunion...and for 2011 it landed at Rt. 66 in Joliet, IL. The date is Friday July 29th, 2011, but we don't have an itinerary set in stone yet...we have the track exclusively on Friday, but Rt. 66 is begging us to stay over Saturday for their weekly program, with our own dedicated lanes, and help promote the event going forward.

    Is there any interest from the Pure Stock/F.A.S.T. guys in doing anything with us @ Rt. 66? It could be as informal/formal as you guys would like it, I just wanted to extend the invitation as I've had a few guys mention the idea.

    Adrian and myself are in for sure as well as others from Team Canada. More confirmations to follow. Lookin' forward to it!!

    Oh yeah, I could not miss participating in a muscle car event 20 minutes away from home!

    I was interested, at least until I saw Red Alert in the Mecum Indy catalog today, just kidding. I hope to have a few extra days in my schedule this year and it's on the right side of Chicago.

    I think we can make it, Bob Jr. lives so close to the track that you can hear the cars making a pass.
    Donny, I believe they allow camping at the track, and there are several farmers next to the track that have camping sites.
