This will most likely be the thread untill the actual products launch with their own

Just call Up TA and setup a deposit if that's what you want to do.

looking like july from post above for intake casting which is good.
I prob wont expect heads till sept
But Mike will update us on real months/dates when things get closer

The best way to make sure you get the first available heads and intake is to call TA and make a deposit and then you will be in line for your parts when they are made. Just to be clear this is NOT TA asking for deposits.... This is just me stating the fact that they WILL take a deposit and that will ensure that you get a set of heads and intake sooner than people who do not have a deposit down... I have been trying for years to get TA to take a deposit and they finally agreed knowing that they are close to producing the parts.

someone should look into getting better head gaskets made. i do believe after reading on 455 and V6 stuff that there will be coolant seepage issues.

We already did that a few years ago.. "Gaskets to go" made us custom multi layer gaskets and they can make more if enough people want them.

I had copper head gaskets made for the 340, (required the block to be O-ringed of course but you could O-ring the heads instead) anyway the first set they sent me looked like they were for the 350 so I think they have both patterns. Any thickness. Details should be in my 340 build thread.

Isn't the current 350 aluminum intake called the "Stage 1" intake? Why not simply call this one "Stage 2"?

The intake pattern went to the plate shop last week to be cast into an aluminum tool. The runner masters went to the foundry a few weeks ago and are back already being machined. The manifold tooling should all be at the foundry in about 4 weeks. I will take about another 4-6 weeks to get sample casting to machine. Cylinder head is now on deck. We have been discussing what direction were going to take. Looks like we will be moving the valves to the bore center line to allow for bigger valves. May stay with a 1.550 exhaust, haven't made up our minds yet. If we do were thinking we could get a 2.050 intake. Anyway that's what been going on. We will be building flow boxes first to test the ports and valve sizes.

    Cool.
It'd make a sweet engine for swapping into MGs and such if it wasn't quite so wide and tall. The weight will be right though, so maybe someone will take on that swap, after they see my 340.

Plan to do any valve covers?
