Ted was also in Hot Rod last year, and was honored at this year's Hot Rod reunion at Nat Trails last Month. He's an 8 Time class winner at the Nationals in Indy, and he and his wife are two of the nicest people I've met drag racing or anywhere else. He deserves every accolade he gets, we should all represent our sport so well.:TU: :TU: :Comp:

Ted Harbit Trivia In 1966, Ted was an NHRA Nationals winner. What class, and *gasp*, what was the brand of car he did it in ???

My flathead ran in that class the few times I raced it, and each year they added new classes at the top and we were pushed even lower in the alphabet. I was M/S and I think maybe ever R/S the last time I ran that car. Seems to me Studebaker-Packard closed up shop for good in the Spring of 1964, so maybe by 1966, he raced something different than a Studebaker?
