I've got to pull the driver's side manifold in my 350. I ordered a replacement kit from TA for new bolts. Anyone ever use this kit? The bolt heads are 12 point instead of 6.
This question appears to have gone unanswered, so here is the info from a Hollander Interchange Manual (39th edition). This manual only covers through 1973. 1967 400-430 LH 1378117 RH 1383648 (except LeSabre). 1968-69 400-430 LH 1384089 RH 1383648 (except LeSabre) 1970 455 LH 1233899 RH 1383648 1971-72 455 LH 1233451 RH 1383648 1973 455 LH 1233451 RH 1238094 So it appears the same RH manifold was used 1967-1972. The LH appears to have been redesigned quite often. All of these numbers correspond to the part numbers listed in my Buick master chassis parts manual (effective Nov. 1973) except the 1967 LH manifold, where 1384089 is listed. Perhaps P/N was superceded by the end of '73. Looks like 1378117 and 1233899 were one year only applications.
Maybe someone with an earlier Hollander and/or chassis parts manual can shed some light on this. I am sure numbers were superceded often during production.
I spoke with Mark from Then and Now at Columbus and he said he is going to have the 4" bolt made. No more welding two together. They now offer the correct bolt sets for $24 minus the 4" bolt. They are well worth it as you do not need to order extras like you would from AMK. These are exact to originals except they do not have the small bare nub on th end but they do not really show much anyway.
