My body guy did the stripes with just tape over the yellow. He just used the literature on placement and size I gave him. He did not want to use stencils.
Man it's been awhile but finally getting painted.. Hey bud I'll be needed a parking space in a couple of weeks headed out there with the kids soon for our Alaska cruise..

We just put the stencil kit on the body of my car today. We used soapy water so we had time to make adjustments. It helped having the GSX blueprint for initially locating the stripe. We then adjusted the stripe to get the best alignment we could. We are painting the red first and then the black. The car was totally painted, cleared and buffed/polished before we began laying the stripes. I used the stencil kit from the Parts Place. It is OK but the pieces are short we had to add on to the door section to make it fit. Red paint going on in the morning. Jim
