Hope this is good news. **** Interesting info on this link; http://www.marchforfreedom.com/smf/index.php?topic=24.0
They found the trailer. But the truck and car are still missing. Unless Chevy has more info. I hope the trailer had some evidence in or on it. :TU:
The OPP had little interest in the trailer or any evidence it might hold...matter of fact, he towed it home while the APB for his stolen trailer's description was still active and passed a couple or three black & whites while running *20km over the speed limit* and he said they didn't bat an eye...uzzled: Only damage found so far to the trailer was a busted tail light and maybe a small dent where they backed into something, but his new spare tire/wheels, timing light, and LM1 all survived...they simply unhooked the electrics, pulled the pin in the Reese hitch, and ditched the trailer behind a shop at the edge of the reservation.
Just heard about a dealer in Missouri that is giving away an AK47 with every new truck he sells....I'll see if I can find the link and post it. edit: http://patriotupdate.com/stories/read/804/Car-Dealer-Gives-Away-AK-47-With-Every-New-Truck-Sale
Just talked to Pete: he's emotionally spent, and will try and post once he's caught his breath, but the Camaro is back @ home...the short version is, he offered a reward *early* in the game, the right people heard about it and made the calls.
I heard the same good news. That is fantastic and very good news for Pete. I know everyone was just sick over your lose and the return is a great thing. Mark
Glad to hear you got your baby back Peter,I'm sure that was one of the longest weekends you've ever had, especially with NO sleep.
What a crazy ride, I thought horse trading was over years ago ! Glad to hear it worked out and no one got shot. Sit back have a beer and fondle your car today.:beers2:
What an ordeal. Pete, glad you have possession of your car once again. :TU: I would hope that this story could make it in a car magazine to help peoples awareness level. We need to keep this from happening again if able. Too many nightmare stories out there for any comfort. The bad thing about all of this, it wont be the last time someone feels helpless. Jim
The new painted heading on the car is " horse trader":3gears: Can't wait to see you behind the wheel with a giant smile on your face at the race again.
Wow! What an ordeal! I am glad to hear that the Camaro has been recovered, and hopefully no damage to it!
Whew, glad to hear your car is back in your garage, Pete. I know I would be a mess if mine were stolen. I hope you return to a more relaxed state of mind ASAP, and get some sleep.
