Ok, grill in. Everybody happy? We are, 10.92 @ 122 N/A. Heading to 1/8th mile track this weekend to see how it does with the new 100 shot.

3000 lbs on the scales at the track. Without Tyler in it.

    Looks great!! :TU:

For the grille, my suggestion is based on the 67 GS grille, I always liked the horizontal red stripes. Maybe you could incorporate that into your grille after you've painted it black?

The rear end is at stock height. The front end is lowered. If I lower the rear of the car any, the tires will hit the top of the wheel well.

Great work! I am about the order those same rims, I am SO glad I found this thread! I kept trying to picture those wheels on my 70 lark.... Looks great!

Was any work required to make the wheels fit in the rear? I am going with the 15x10 with 5.5 backspace, is that what yours are? I like the way the 10 inch rims spread the tire out for a nice contact patch.

Mine are the 15x10 with 5.5" backspacing. The left wheel and tire fit perfectly 29.5x10.5 tire. But the right side was rubbing the frame, we had to notch it slightly to get it to work right.

Wasn't too tough to do tho!

WoW! :eek2: ....looks Badass for real. :TU:

Reminds me of this Black one I saw at the GS Nats/Ky. in 2008.

I saw it run T/A Performance Mike's red '65 Skylark/GS, and go 9.03 just edging him out.

Good Luck at the track. :3gears:

Most of my pics are action shots, I will see if I can find any that have not been posted yet.

That was with steel rims, and the rear seat in the car. :eek2: Can't wait to weight it now that I have the aluminum rims, and the rear seat was taken out to fit the nitrous bottle in.

Here's one for now. I will have to get some more pictures. I am planning on going April 10th to Abilene. That will give me a good excuse to get some more pictures.
