Base coat/ clear coat the shutters. A buddy of mine works in a body shop and did mine over 10 years ago and they still look great. The good thing about using bc/cc is that you can use any color that you want. Mine face south and the originals only lasted about 2 years.

My baby boy got married this weekend in Indiana.

Dodgers gave him a week off reluctantly but they won their minor league championship and he gets a ring. Hopefully the Dodgers follow up and win the World Series.

Vinny married Andrea Chessor (who is taller than I am).

    Left to right.
My dad & mom, Andrea, Vinny, my wife Rachael, me/Mikey and our daughter Meagan.

On a side note Andrea was inducted into the college softball hall of fame last Thursday.

Hey Ian... this particular boatyard uses a hydraulic trailer on a ramp. Its almost the MAX capacity for this boat. Usually, marinas use a Marine Travellift Co. unit. They get up around 1000 ton capacity. The pics are the 36' Roamer on the trailer and my 50 ton Hatteras on the travelift. The jackstands require up to a dozen different tricks to gettem' right; smoke and mirrors or a balancing act. Pick one.... ws

I scraped the old insulation of the roof of my 67 gs, removed the dash harness, headliner retainer, regulators, lock mechs, and the glass.....in preparation for media blasting and priming. Got her stripped down to a shell now. Getting closer folks! Some minor body work, paint, and time to reassemble!!

Some guys with barns around here actually do move their own stuff with a HD trailer, but I live right in town with a smallish lot and no extra space. The HOG is an aluminum boat and weighs in at about 7-8 tons with fuel on board, but is almost 13 feet wide and just about 18 feet tall from the keel on the ground. I just store it where they lift it. That's a big 6 block drive. Back in Shitcawgo, it was a 40 mile drive across the dark continent so for a day or a weekend trip EVERYTHING had to come along, tools, parts , whatever. Its nice only being a minute or two away. When I was still working, Id spend just about all summer living on board. Driving that direction to work, I only had to cross the Bantuu Nation into Aztec territory and they were all friendly's LOL... That Zulu nation were all headhunters and in the city, ya better not get caught with a thunder stick! Thatll land you in the boiling pot, inside looking OUT! ws

Chased the elusive 12.xx time slip with "Bruiser" at the local drag strip test n tune session. Had a great time with my son and the legend behind "Great Scat" all day in the great weather which can be oh so rare in late October in Northeast Ohio. Didn't get the 12.xx, but we put the street tires back on the car and drove it safely back home for the 45 minute journey. No broken drive shaft or transmission like the last adventure. All in all, a great day.
