I casually know a guy who has a bunch of performance Oldsmobiles. Some need resto in some way, others are quite nice, but they all are the creme de la creme. There's many I'd put on my list, but I don't have the funds. If this sounds like it may be your bag, give John a call at 603-347-2442. Please be sure to let him know you saw this post here, although I'm not working under any finder's fee pretenses.

To point out some of the cars in the pics, there's a post Hurst/Olds, W-30 ragtop, W-31, and Hurst/Olds.

Second set is a Cutlass 4-4-2 W-30 post coupe, and a Cutlass S 4-4-2 455 car with ultra low mileage.

The garage has a whole load of neat stuff; in the front is a Cutlass 4-4-2 hardtop and a 4-4-2 W-30 convertible in the rare trim combo of black/red (with tan interior, no less!) The latter is a 4-speed too. :)

you know, the last time Diego posted a car for sale I bought it. And I would really like 68 H/O post car ...... but alas I have no room and having cars sit outside isn't an option.

    where's the 69 F-85 W-31 factory two tone car?

That 68 post Hurst came from here. Tom Drew in Novi traded it to John for an original 70 Indy pace car. It had a wild 455 in it and also came with the correct, but not original motor.

John is one of the nicest people you'll ever meet. Really does have some awesome cars. Looks like he's moved a few of them from when I saw them 3 years ago.

I talked to John on the phone the other day. We talked briefly about the cars in the pics. We got to talking about the cars NOT listed. '70 442 post a/c car, 69 442 post, and 68 RamRod. The 69 and 70 were in my price range but I'm sure it's b/c of rust and not having the #'s matching. The RamRod didn't have it's original motor either and is in primer. He was very nice to talk to and if I was in the market for a "finished" car I'd be all over the two tone W31 or post H/O.

I bet he has a KA 401462 pulley that I'm looking for.

That's where they all went....:Dou: No wonder nobody can find them.....

I'll take the 69 H/O off his hands, and the white 67 convertable hiding in the back.....4 speed? .

Hey Noel, do they not repop that pulley now? Might not have the right numbers, but a lot easier to find....

    Diego,

Is that the two tone 69 F85 post car W31? That is an awesome car. Think it came out of Volo.

Is that the Black and Gold car that Couris owned in Atlanta. Flynbuick and I looked at the car years ago. Tried to buy it twice and could never get er done. Nice car. John BTW I want the Black poverty cap car in the photo.

    Dave, I don't think I have the two-tone car in the pics . . . it was a '69, and you're looking at a '68?

But, yes, that was the car that Couris had. I have pics somewhere . . .

No, it was definitely a 69 F85 post that I'm thinking about. I also think the same one JEA is referring to. It used to be in the original quonset hut right in the middle. Beautiful car.

Diego is the Black 71 a 4 speed car?

Diego, you sure that's the same car? I could swear it was a 69 F85 W31 post car (3277 model), black with a yellow or gold painted two tone. John told me it came out of Volo. I've been wrong before......:Do No:

I don't know who Couris is.

The black car is an auto on the column, keeping with the cheapie persona of a Cutlass hardtop. There were only 17 4-4-2 W-30s built on this model/bodystyle.

Dave, Craig Couris is the guy from GA who owned this about 10 years ago. Attached are some pics showing it's a Cutlass S.

Are hood stripes correct on a 69 W-31?
What is that Rally Red(hugger orange for chevy guy's) car in the background?

Thanks. It's not the same car. I saw it from the back and it did not have that trim on the deck lid. I also think it had a yellow top, not gold. I could be wrong......but I doubt it..(Thanks to Sir Charles for that line........)Cars were very crammed in there back then, hard to get through there.....especially for someone my size.

I took a bunch of pics when I was there also, know that car was in one of them. Hope I saved them. That's also when I first saw that yellow 70 W31 with the 427 Chev engine in it that I wanted so badly.

Does John still have all those "project cars"? Some of those were quite unique. One was a really rough 68 Hurst HT, but complete and documented. A big garter snake fell out of the door and wiggled away when I opened it. Enough of that crap.......

I sold 2 cars and a whole truckload of part to John at that time, bought a 79 Hurst from him a few years later. THAT was a huge mistake.

Tom, those hood stripes were an option on any Cutlass or 442 in '69. Not part of the W-car package. That's a steel hood, not fiberglass, of course.
