WANTED 70-72 inner fenders

More specifically, inner fenders for my 71 skylark. Don't need to be flawless, but DO need to be rot free!

Your not going to find a rot free rh unless you pay more than you would to fix yours,.what's your location? I don't follow college football so idk where the Badgers call home,..71/72s are slightly different in appearance not that it matters much on a Skylark,...

 

There are still some rust free/rot free ones out there.Last summer I bought a set of near perfect 70 inners for $145 bucks That makes 6 inners for me, but I have 3 cars they are needed on. Badgers are from Wisconsin for the record..

 

They didn't know what they had

 

I know....He was a Chevy guy.Bought a NOS 71 up radiator support for $200 the same day.

 

I believe I have a set that are So. Cal. perfect. I'll have a look today and send you a pic.

I'm in a suburb of Madison. Had one set from AZ. Need one more set for my other car. Set I had came up from a parts runner that used to make the trip to AZ twice a year. He's since passed on. Not sure what his connection was in Arizona, but he could get just about anything back then. Paid $150 each some 15 years ago.

By the way... Badgers are from Madison,WI, another great team is a little over 3 hours from here!! GO PACK!

You might try "azchevs" he was parting at least one 71-72 Skylark a while ago. Sierra Vista, AZ location.

According to their website, the Parts Place has NOS, used and repro inner fenders. You might want to call them too.

Anyone have any feedback good or bad for the inner fenders sold by The Parts Place?

 

If you do not care about the non structural differences among 7o to 72 year models, the reproductions are the way to go. There is only one manufacturer of these but maybe several sellers.

 

What are the differences? I am needing them for a '71 GSX. Are the differences structural or cosmetic? Thx for the input.

 

Cosmetic. Maybe for 71 there was a mid- year change. All 70-72 versions will bolt up.

 

Does The Parts Place sell the driver’s side now,or just the passenger side?
I have the repop passenger side and it is pretty nice. The thread pitch on the square nuts is different.
