I was planning on coming out on Weds, but John Csordas said he's most likely heading out on Tues. That suits me just fine. Tuesday it is!
I was planning on leaving Wed. the 11th. also, around 9-10am. Any sooner & mucho traffic unless I leave at 4-5am. Have had hotel reservations since 1-12. Maybe we will all hook-up at some point. Tom Telesco
hmmmm-leaving which location? lets see-my flight leaves los angeles at 1030 tues nite, i arrive in columbus 734 weds am-then some food and car cleaning and prep, some visiting with friends-guess i leave cols early thurs and hook up with phil and lon somewhere...yeah, thatll work!!
Chris, it's not that we drive slow, it's just that we like to "MELLO" into an EVENT!!!!!!!!! We customarily arrive a month in advance to check things out and "GET THE PARTY STARTED"!!!!!! We need to know where the bars and liquor stores are. Then we have to find the auto supply stores. After that we try out all the restaurants. Then we have to see what kind of women are in town. Last but not least we have to find the best "TOPLESS" place for Doug The Heckler.......... for when he arrives. There is a lot that goes into "HAVING A GOOD TIME" and by the time everyone else gets here..........WE BE "ROCKIN"!!!!! So.............my PEEEEEEEEEEPS, when you all arrive in SALEM and see a Mushroom Cloud over the "RED ROOF INN" stop in and say "HIGH" to the EAST COAST BOYS...........'cause we'll be "P-A-R-T-E-E-E-E-I-N" (nothin' like being prepared in advance) :beer :beer :beer :beer :beer :beer :beer :beer :beer :beer :beer :beer :beer :beer :beer :beer:beer :beer :beer :beer :beer :beer P.S. BPG Nationals Renee, Thanks!!! I've never been to that track. I will be hooking up with Yardley Wednesday and not leaving till Sunday. This will be my pay back for my wife going to dog shows every weekend and leaving me home with our two teen age kids. AL.
