Do rolling start 1/4 mile times count...Larry,
What do you think the differance in power be if you had not 0 decked your motor. And can you run 91 octane with 0 deck. I had already bought rods and pistons from TA before knowing about JW's 0 D combo.

TA wont even make a rear end cover special order with the bearing supports. For my orphan rear.

The best ET depends on getting the car out of the hole and 60' out. A rolling start won't be good for anything, it might break them loose even rolling. That's why you need Drag Radials or Slicks. A reduction of 1 tenth in your 60' time is worth 2 to 3 tenths at the other end. All you'll get is a trap speed which will give you some idea of what the potential ET could be if you could launch at full power and hook. Anybody who has ever been down the track remembers their first time. You get your time slip and think, I thought I was faster.:)

Ive looked at trying to fit a lincon versi rear end. Has anyone seen a car with rear disc and front drum brakes?

I used a PowerTrax to make my 2.56 into a posi. Easy install (no ring gear removal) and worked great. May runs on it and no issues except for clicking in turns.
My son ran a 12.66 with it in great air at Cecil.
