I took the car out to shoot the drag tonight. Drove by a restaurant and some people on the outdoor patio noticed the car, as we were stopped. Everyone was just kind of pointing and trying to figure out what it was first. Then someone points the car out to a lady with them and she goes "Oh thats a Corvette!" excitedlyou: I can understand cutlass and chevelle, but corvette? cmon I'm not making fun or corvettes or anything, its just in my eyes my car doesn't resemble a corvette in the slightest way. Oh well, I had a good laugh as i found it pretty funny:laugh:
Torgue not ci..... More than anything I always hear GTO.....which is usually okay with me because at least they realize they are looking at a muscle car. After I explain that it is a buick GS, then I quite often hear "My (fill in the blank here) had a buick in the '60's, but it had one of them 445 wildcat motors in it" John
GS Not SS!!! Now I know why I saw a logo or members name; "not a ss" Most people get right. The ones that don't mistake mine for SS Chevelle, I think because of the roof and general body style. AL.
First day out and I hear a little kid say 'nice Chevelle'. :af: :af: :af: :blast: :blast: :blast: :blast:
