    Hey..

Im having a real problem in deciding which pair of rims Ill have on my Buick..

The 5 spoked on the grass will get a chrome ring if I decide to go that way..

Hope you guys will chime in :)

I'd say the one's from the first set of pics on the asphalt. I think they stand out and accent the trim lines a bit more.

The problem is, that I like the rim on the back, on the asphalt pic, but the rim on the front on the grass..

I think that the front rim on first picture looks to much like a sheet metal plate/dish..

The set on grass is 9,5x20" and the other set is 8,5 and 10x19"

Maybe better photo's were we can see the rim better...

If I had to chose I'd say the 1st two photo's...

Sorry those style rims just aren't my cup of tee...

I am gonna be respectfully honest.

I do not like any of them.

That car would look awesome with the Buick rallye wheels, i reckon. And the black tyre with narrow single whitewall.

Like so many of our cars are wearing.

When I see black rims, big rims, bling rims, spinner rims and all that modern-boyracer stuff on a classic American V8, i cannot help but think how it spoils the look of the car.

But that's just me. I am actually not conservative in my tastes at all, but I think some stuff just looks so right. And other stuff, so wrong.

Have you looked at US MAGS Bandits? its a modern version of Pontiacs rim. just enough chrome and black to accent the car
I just tossed them on my '71

Well said Kiwidave. That's exactly how I feel about it. However, it's different strokes for different folks I suppose. I've said it before..... everyone has their own idea of what is "cool", and that IS cool. As Blind Faith once sang...."Do whatcha Like"

I want you to be honest.. Taste is individual..

I'm under 30, and the only change to the car is the rims.. I don't wanna tint the windows etc..

I think the 19" is to bright, so I had to center photoshoppet black to see if it made it better.. Still feel like I'm missing some deepth in them compared to the 20"

With the new pics, I'd still say the chrome (or polished aluminum?) ones are my preference, but it sounds to me like you're leaning a bit towards the black ones. Do what makes you happy, it is yours after all. If it was me, I'd go Buick Rallyes with a white line tire as well.

One day Im leaning towards the with the polished 19"s and next day Im towards the Black 20"s.. Id would like some rally wheels, but the parts for american cars dont lay around over here :( I should get the from the states, and shipping alone would be ~$400-500

Guess I have to sleep on it.. Again.. :)

Thanks for the your reponse :)

Given those options, I would choose the silver polished ones.

    BTW, congrats on the car!

Just got in again after the buyer was here.. He wanted the 19" but he couldt get them on because of the lug nut pattern, so he bougth the 20" for the asking price ( priced to sell )

if you ever had to buy 19 inch tires you would say no and get a 18 or 20

If you think price wise, 18, 19 and 20" is very close in price.. 10$ at max from size to size.. :) But if I want 265/30 instead of 245/30, the price goes x3 .. :dollar:

you asked and no offense intended, but x3 on what kiwidave said. Im a bit over the hill and I'm sorry but donk wheels on classics just aint right. sorry. Its ok to be different with Craggers, factory appearing aftermarket mags even doggie dishes and moons =cool. Don't believe me, just go to a local car show and check things out. 90+ percent or better of classics ride on old school cool. donks and rice rockets are welcome but get the the cheap seats of the far corner of our local cruises. No sir not a fan of "hot wheels" rims with tires with no room for raised white letters. It just is wrong.
