What do you consider a donk wheel? If your were to say that a tasteful 18" with modern performance summer tires is a "donk" setup, then I would say you are missing out on one of the best and easiest bolt on performance and drivability upgrades. Don't get me wrong, I was very reluctant to ditch my 15s and Radial TAs with white letters, but dang there is no comparison, and I haven't looked back!

If people should base their choices on what the majority thinks is cool, he should sell his Buick and buy a Camaro.

Also, forcing cars to the "cheap seats" of a local cruise because they don't meet your approval reminds me of the cattiness of egotistical high school girls.

Here is the same car with old school 15's with white letters and new style 18's with high performance tires. Straight up comparo. The overall tire diameters are virtually the same so don't say it needs lowered etc. In fact the rear diameter is just a little bigger on the 18's so tuck a little more than the 15's. The ride and handling on the 18's is significantly better. I chalk it up to tire technology and less wobbles on the turn ins. I went 18's as there are way better tire choices for the sizes I wanted compared to 17's. I really do like the white lettered tires though! Luckily I have two sets of shoes to switch it up when I feel like it. The polished wheels just match the trim and moldings on the car better. Maybe some 15" Cragars or something? I just don't like the gray wheels with this car. Too many colors going on IMO.

BTW, I really like your final selection! Sinister. Buick Rallye rims scream grandpa's car.

I think most people here would prefer the "grandpa wheels" over the wheels that scream "PIMP MY RIDE".

Good to know. That is why it's YOUR car and not his or mine. I can never understand why people feel the need to speak down to others who have a different opinion and taste. The guy has a really nice old Electra. If he wants big wheels, why do others feel it is necessary to belittle his choice. Start calling it a donk etc. It really is arrogant. If you don't like it, don't say anything. Who cares what MOST like?? It only matters what the OWNER likes. If it is that repulsive, buy his car and add your white walls and rallyes so it makes it RIGHT in your opinion.

Maybe you could start kicking members off the site that are not IN with the cool kids here.

Just because I don't like your rims and you don't like mine doesn't mean we can't still be friends. Does it? Your snide remark about the wheels most on this site love prompted a snide remark in return from me. Sorry I ruffled your feathers.

**** it, run the blacks on one side and silvers on the other. If you get board, move your chair to the other side.
