I am! A friend and I just went down Skyline Drive in Va. last week. 600 mile round trip. The weather was perfect and we hope to do it again next year. Here is a picture of my '03 HD Springer Softtail.

    Hey Jerry I've been there!

I worked up there last summer for 3 months. Lived in Whitehorse, which is hte capital of the Yukon. How far intot he Yukon did you go? Different world up there huh? Did you get a chance to go into Skagway, Alaska? Beautiful!

    Trevor,

Stayed in Whitehorse for two days. Rode the bike up to Grey Mountain (?). I could overlook the whole town. Very interesting area with lots of prospecting history.
My wife and I rode into Skagway. They have a real cool snow blower steam train on display. Skagway is where we caught the ferry (Alaska Marine Hwy.) back to Washington. One of the most beautiful and scenic trips ever. I should publish it someday.

Hey Jerry, If you can Believe it, I took a Rented 2002 Crown Victoria to the top of the grey mountain! Got 3/4 of the way before I figured it was a really bad idea, had to go to the top to turn around! The tower up there was for the Radio station I worked at, CKRW.com Took the whitepass to Skagway. Not to many people have been up that way, nice to find somebody who has.

And to get it back on topic..... I like....Motorcycles. Honda mainly, but I won't start anything with any other owners of sub par models.

Thanks Beth! now all I have to do is get that Triumph back together and I'll be on it again! Been riding my 1978 Yamaha XS750 all year and as soon as I get my pics from Deal's Gap I'll post one of me and my 1972 Kawasaki H1 in the turns!

I've been riding my '03 Yamaha FZ1 to work for most of the summer. You can't beat 47 miles per gallon, not to mention 125 year wheel horse power. I've had a '92 Sportster, '94 BMW R1100RSL and '98 Honda Superhawk (best first gear power wheelies you ever saw), but the FZ1 is probably my favorite. I also have an '83 XR1000, which is better to look at and polish than it is to ride.

Any other FZ1 owners out there?

My first bike was a 1976 Kawasaki KX125 at age 13.

    1978 Suzuki GS750

then a gap in my riding due to kids, school, no money etc...
