Yeah I've seen those. The Repops original style? I decided to order those on opgi due to shipping costs.
Couldn't find reviews for my specific car, so let's see how they will fit.

    Update.
I ordered the repops original style from OPGI and the long ones arrived bended. So I reached out to them asking what to do; within an hour they sent me an email stating they would send a new set and they weren't even expecting mine back (located in Europe).
So a big thumbs up from me, fantastic customer support! Highly recommended.
    This set arrived today.

The chrome bead on these is the correct one. I had to drill a few holes in my drivers side door for installation because not all holes were there. Strange, because the holes on my old door would have been correct. Perhaps a few holes on my new doors were closed by the modelshop, don't know.
The radius on the rear side isn't a 100% match, it needs a little more. So installing one end, and then pushing it down does work, but here also I needed to drill holes, because these weren't located correctly. But then the fitment is fine.

Then I had a lot of problems with the window alignment, the doors were fine, but I couldn't get the quarter window to line up correctly to the door window nor to touch the window sweep.
Took me a lot of time but eventually I noticed my new Metro door pillar seal pushed the quarter window inward and backward. After removal of it, line up was done in a couple of minutes. So I'll adapt the seal later on.

All in all, I can recommend the Repops original style. The rubbers seems to be of a good quality, installation needs a little bit tweaking, but the end result looks nice.

Wish I had a better report, I ordered the 69 repops kit. Noted "special molding" Now they were to replace fuzzies on 68. Didn't expect holes to line up Also because it was a big job I left door panel off and it leaks everytime it rained. Probably because it was t straight. Normal problems like stripped holes - no big deal The weather. Strip on vent window was interfering with window operation so I followed recommended procedure and was only thing to come out right. 69 weatherstrip on 68 door.? Replacing whole door. Hinge R+R etc. I ended up using engine hoist to pull door up to A pillar. Lots of work ×2

So not all window felts or dew wipes are the same. I can tell you the "Repop" brand is not correct..

From the factory, the end of the chrome bead is bent 90 degrees like this-

Alot of brands do not have this bend at the end. I suspect it's like thst to not snag your clothing. Just a guess though.

I got my set from Ausley's chevelle parts after I made the salesman on the phone go in the warehouse and pull them off the shelf and make sure they had thst bend. I think thry were TWI brand but I csnt remember. I bet I have a thread about it somewhere on here

That's one of the things I check on a car...that bend, the dust doors on the door and trunk locks and a few other little things...

But that makes sense, the 68 door has a vent window and the 69 does not. So it can't fit.

Well, they might not be correct, because they indeed do not have that bend, but they fit nicely and look good. So I'm happy, they're functional.

This is where I bought mine : www.meccomindustrial.com My Invoice says Part # YMR26X or their Item # 75001487 , These are 8ft long straight pieces ( they will cut in half for shipping, Used them on the front doors & rear quarter glass, My buddy made a "jig" to put the bend in them for the rear quarter glass.... They have a decent on-line catalog & were very helpful when I called to order, They probably usually sell to glass shops/distributors... Hope this helps.....

I intend to replace pass door, I shall add large chrome strip upon top of door.. Using remaining weatherstrip from 69 kit. . The fuzzies 68 style weatherstrip was superceded by 69 rubber lip so let's go with that. The strip can be cut to size using original to gauge the overlap to vent window.. So maybe application of sealer under chrome scalp will help . Guessing I would say replacement was too thick and the fact it rested atop chrome strip distorted the lip further.

Just started to install mine - it’s some work but it’s ok. Theyre not exactly the same like the original ones but better than nothing.

i ordered the wildcat set for my lesabre because I couldn’t find other ones shipped here for my car. Unfortunately the front door outer ones are too short-they end at the quarter windows…

I cut the old ones for the doors and kept the part that was missing on the new ones - worked out good so far.

IMG_20230109_065322251.jpg Well , it looks like half a$$ contact. Took forever to replace the door and glass + hinges weatherstrip Then there was adjustment. Might have studied the manual beforehand.
