    That 'Vette cleaned up really nice. One thing to watch out for on the 'Vettes is leaky brake calipers due to them sitting so much, and as George pointed out, vacuum leaks. If you ever get stuck for parts shoot me a line, I just spent the last 5 years doing my 'Vette and have found several sources for parts.
    Enjoy!

    DeeVeeEight;

    Yes going through the brakes now. Rebuilt Master Cylinder, remanufactured Calipers with Stainless Steel sleeves. Will turn rotors and check the run out... Been trying to go through a system at a time. Currently running, needs "squeky alternator" rebuilt and throwout bearing... long way to go.... but lovingf every minute of it.

    Thanks for the advise.. I will PM you about your supliers.. so many out there to chose from.

    It's hard to wipe that big grin off your face when you drive a 'Vette!:kodak:

    That might be my dream car. The 68 don't get a lot of respect, but they are so cooooool looking. Ragtop of coarse... Body lines like a woman

    Congrats, beautiful car, I've always loved the chrome bumper Vette's from 68-72. Used to walk home from middle school to my buddy's house and pass a 70 backed in the driveway of a house 2 doors down. Ever since then I've wanted a C3 convertible of my own.

    Glad to see you and your son enjoying this car and creating new memories as the caretakers of this cool car. :TU: After all, a convertible 4spd Vette should bring a permanent smile to your face while drive. :)

    Take care and enjoy!
