I am no expert on anything car related but when they say that there is no big and small block Buick, I can't hold my fingers. They think Olds, Pontiac and Buick are THE SAME!

I resisted getting on Farcebook for so long but joined recently for access to cars and parts for sale. You’re right about misinformation and not just restricted to Buick’s. It’s ridiculous.

You would hate riding on a 10 hour car ride with me, I can run on sentence the whole trip.

Saw that one. The ignorance of those fools is epic. That and the 3D picture that it was commented on.

Again, I'm no genius but sometimes I think I slept at a Holiday Inn Express compared to a lot of the comments.

And facebook compounds the problem with their silly chat room format.. There must be some way to break up your thoughts into paragraphs, but I have not found it yet..

The combination of function for the enter and post button is a major pain. Here, I want to break up thoughts.. hit enter.. over there, it posts....

So you have the run on sentences, in some form of tortured english, one after another creating an unbearable to read massive paragraph of jumbled thoughts.

I will say.. reading comprehension has never been great on the internet, I noticed that on this board, long before there was a facebook.

Breaking up run on statements into paragraphs on Facebook can be done by holding the shift key down while hitting enter on a PC. Have no idea if this works on a Mac or any phone. I just admitted to not knowing it all. :D

I got into a whole back and forth with a know it all at a car cruise. He tried to tell me that the Buick, Olds, and Pontiac 455s were the same engine because they were all 455s. Even after I walked him around and showed him the different engines in other cars, he still insisted. I thought about going into geometry, bore and stroke differences, but I thought it would be a waste of breath.

Every internet user, especially facebook users should watch this documentary on Netflix if you can.........

Even the creators of these platforms knew there would be trouble ahead.

Does V8Buick have an official FB page? I thought I saw one but didn't know if it was the same people.

There is a V8Buick group but it's not related to this board.

When I was in college I once wrote a paper for a writing class that had a 63-word sentence. In parenthesis I made the comment (63 words!). The teacher in red pencil marked the spot with a +5 and actually gave me an extra five points on the paper. The sentence was grammatically correct. I wish that I had saved the paper.

As a former security and network engineer, this is nothing new to me. If you want to starve the beast, use Duckduckgo.com as your search engine and/or use Brave browser to keep yourself lower profile.

533 million Facebook users' phone numbers and personal data have been leaked online

My phone number has never been linked to my FB account and I have never posted my face, on facebook! I very rarely ever use FB. If I deleted my account today, I would never miss it.

    Always use a VPN.

Use both platforms daily knowing I'm not the smartest most educated and intellectual guy out there. I do however know how to use spell check and try my best to be coherent. If theres a subject that I know nothing about , will read others post and try to learn something. If I do know and the answers been provided ,stay out of it or chime in if I feel I can correctly contribute. It really baffles me how some of these guys made it through school. Many of them should not be allowed to handle tools.
