Very nice, I would have been all over that one! Several years ago I bought my one owner 73 Stage 1 off of Craigslist, I think several people missed it as the guy listed it as a Pontiac Stage 1. He was a non car guy selling it for the original owners estate and had no idea what it was. I felt as though the Buick Gods were with me that day too!
Gorgeous car in mint condition, congrats! Technically U code is 455 with dual exhaust. There is a T code that is just 455.
I haven’t seen the car in person for another 10 days, I travel for work, but I’ll let you know, but it not being a Stage1. I can’t see why it would have one????
My '73 is equipped like yours's. (Mine doesn't have that cool map light though). I believe with a/c and HD cooling a stage 1 fuel pump was included.
I drove 2 hrs to look at and drive this car a few weeks ago before it went up for sale. I was interested but ultimately decided against buying another 73, when I already had one at home. Price was fair, good car.
yes it does have the Stage 1 fuel pump, factory. I got home yesterday to see the car and yes I can confirm all the numbers are there, this car is correct and unmolested. Pretty impressive.
