Well how about that. The Member who started the thread, deleted his first post. That deletes the whole thread. Any member can do that to any thread they start, and it happens more than you think. Moderators can see when a thread is deleted, and who deleted it. AFAIK, no moderator asked him to do that. I certainly didn't. Personally, I would have preferred to lock it. There was some funny stuff in there.
I'm just glad we don't have to respond to nearly daily complaints about political content in that thread anymore.
I got a message from Jason about the thread last week mentioning he may have to lock or delete it due to a few negative Nancy's. There's been more complaints since then. Figured it was time to pull the plug on it. I find it interesting that when someone doesn't like something posted they would rather complain and be offended instead of moving on and ignoring the post or thread. I'm told its the same people complaining almost every time.
It's most unfortunate that some people feel the need to police the interweb whenever they feel their BVD's knotting up. I saw several memes in that thread which may have been questionable. Being a mature sentient adult, I simply scrolled past them. The downright outrageously funny memes vastly outweighed those few edgy ones. Oh well, maybe I'll start another thread.
I thought we were all above the age limit of the newer generation on here that wasn’t hurt by words and photos oh well
Well, where the hell am I'm going to go when I need a laugh now? As Tom said, scroll past it if you don't like it. Thanks a lot for always causing the great, funny popular threads getting closed or deleted. Lighten up, Francis.(not the mods)
