I thought of these memes to be very funny no matter what or who they were about. They are there to make you laugh and that I did. If you really can't take it then you shouldn't read it. I am amazed that anyone would complain about these they were hilarious. I got picked on all the time since I am a short person you got to get over it and move on. Could anyone handle Don Rickles or Joan Rivers. RIP They were great and said it like it was and didn't care what you thought since it was always funny. and they didn't really mean it that is why it is comedy.
Yep, that is a Maine Coon! Cool cats! Whenever my wife gets one in at her cat rescue & adoption facility, it doesn’t last long. Usually adopted in a day or two.
How about you mods do 1 of a couple things..Put the complaintant's names out in the open,then the rest of us can block them and they will not see any of our posts to complain about....or delete them..There is absolutely nothing on this thread that will make any grown man cry or be upset about. It's about time you deal with the "real" troublemakers and remove them. Their only goal is to whine and complain to get attention. I am about fed up with the sissies that have no humor or can't see it as a joke. My time on this site is growing less and less everyday here..
Pat, that isn't going to happen. The content of this particular thread to date is OK. That isn't the problem. The problem is that down the road, there will be members who post deliberately politically provocative content, or outright profanity. That gets deleted because it violates the v8buick policy. That policy has been set forth by Jim Weise and Mike Bucy. Everyone knows the rules by now. Everyone has the right to report posts they feel cross the line, including you. I would much rather talk about cars than respond to the reports because some members insist on testing the limits. If the recent history of these type of threads is any guide, this will eventually happen to this thread. You might think it's funny, but I find it arrogant and immature. There are nearly 46,000 members here to date. I can tell you from my experience as a moderator, that there are an extreme minority of people who cause ALL the trouble. They insist on posting things they know will provoke "the other side". It is really less than 10 members who consistently try to disrupt. Others are just an occasional problem, but it is still an extreme minority. It's the same people over and over, and they whine and complain about each other. The overwhelming majority do scroll past what they don't want to read. The majority of reports are legit, but some are petty. That applies to both sides.
And despite the fact this thread is “ok” to date, another mod has posted there have already been complaints. That tells you there are ridiculously touchy people who need to move on.
Please publicly post if you are offended by a post instead of hiding behind a report to the mods. As someone said, since you cannot control what you yourself look at we can block you and create a safe room for you. A win-win for everyone.
I used to use propane, I went back to charcoal, and wood chips, nice juicy medium rare smoky flavored steaks! Steak in a skillet just don’t taste the same.
