    EDIT: SOLD--received payment

Here's a pair of the long (16") harder-to-find armrest bases and pads. Details as follows:

    >Originally black and the underlying plastic bases were in GREAT condition with no chalking or drying of the plastic. No cracks, gouges, etc.

    >I properly cleaned/prepped and painted the bases in black and used the correct adhesion promoter before applying the color.

    >Armrest Pads---Also original to this set. I removed the original vinyl and recovered the pads with new black vinyl in the original grain pattern. The foam is in great shape.

    >Stainless Insert Strips---Nice condition...not bent or gouged and the metal backing strips are in good shape. As is usual, the stainless strips have a couple very small minor scratches in them....not large, deep, etc. They could be sanded and polished out.

Overall, a great pair of these hard to find bases PROPERLY RESTORED and READY TO BOLT ON A SHOW CAR.

    EDIT: $125 + shipping.

No paypal. Regular check or MO.

Patton, did you re-cover the pads yourself, or have an upholstery shop do it?

David--I re-covered them and they are done as well, or better, than any upholstery shop would do them (I've had other pads recovered by a pro before and was not real impressed...had to redo them myself). I have re-covered quite a few of these pads and restored the bases myself over the last 2-3 years. Ask Don Hutson how his came out....I think he is very, very happy with the results.

They have all come out great. Not a quick and dirty process by any means.....probably takes me at least a couple hours to just recover each pad (not the resto work on the bases...just each pad) by the time I add up all the steps that it takes. Somewhat tedious and definitely time consuming.

Again, these started out as excellent cores...but I wanted them to look "show car new"..thus the work/time. Thanks.

I'll pm you guys back. Thank you.

So, are you looking for some business? :) I'd send you a set of pads only to re-cover, but my car went into locked storage a couple days ago, won't see it again til spring.

Unlock the doors and grab the pads...I can do them. What color? Long pads I assume.

Anyways, the car will do better in storage without the pads on there....less weight on the car, tires, doors, etc :)

Patton, Can you do a white pair if I send them to you?

Steve--Yes. Do you have matching vinyl yet? If not, what year are they for?? (trying to figure out if they are a pure white or one of the slightly off-white colors).

I have black vinyl here. Other colors I can try to source locally at an auto upholstery supply place or you can get it from Legendary. I'll only use whoever has the correct grained vinyl with the right sheen.

Shoot me a pm with details so we don't keep bumping other ads down. Thank you.

These are for your Concours cars. btw, I did not buy the car I was going to use the Black set on. Patton this is too cheap :Smarty:... However If someone needs a identical Black set. I'll price match.

Not quite that simple, unfortunately. It's stored away in the local fairgrounds buildings, buried with 500+ other cars/trucks/RV's/boats, etc. It'll wait til next spring, I can't drive for 6 months anyway.

I'd like those long chrome plates/bases that are used between these and the door panels on some cars if available :TU:

I'll post pics of them tomorrow after I dig them out of the box...buyer of the armrests has first call on them. I may also have a second set (or one side) of extras in similar condition.

EDIT: Chrome Plastic Backer Plates deleted...they were not the same quality of the arm rest bases and apparently only added confusion to this thread.
